Transport for Troops is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping service members and their families move their personally owned vehicles during military relocations.
Our Mission
To relieve the financial and logistical burden of vehicle transportation during PCS, TDY, ETS, and EAS relocations for active duty, reserve, National Guard, veterans, retirees, and their families — with priority for those in greatest need.
Our Story
Transport for Troops was founded to close a gap that military families know well: the government's reimbursement often doesn't cover what it actually costs to ship a vehicle. What began as a small effort to sponsor shipments has grown into a multi-program organization serving families across all fifty states.
Why Military Mobility Matters
A PCS move is already one of the most stressful events in military life. When the cost of moving a vehicle creates a financial gap, families face hard choices — leave a vehicle behind, take on debt, or delay a move. Closing that gap protects readiness, reduces hardship, and honors the families who serve.
